Credit.com Review

The #2 debt relief company from our evaluations was Credit.com. This particular company is based out of San Fransico, and they provide a variety of debt-related services to clients nationwide.

There are a number of reasons that Credit.com came in second place, and Curadebt took first. The main reason though is that because the company provides such a diverse range of services, when it comes to debt relief their focus isn’t quite as good. Their debt relief services do not provide the same level of personalization as Curadebt’s services did, and in general you probably won’t save quite as much with this debt company.

Having said that, Credit.com did have enough benefits (and the savings were good enough) to take second place.

Credit.com Overview

Credit.com is one of the larger debt companies in the country, and as such they have experience in many areas of credit and debt. For debt relief specifically, they can provide both debt settlement services and debt consolidation services. Â The company itself does not have the same accreditations that Curadebt does, but they are Dunn and Bradstreet listed, and they do certify that their site is secure. The company itself has been around since 1995.

Our main evaluations were based on their service as debt negotiators (debt settlement), and we have not evaluated the company for some of their other services. When it came to negotiation though, they were took second place for both savings and service to their clients.

Consumers who used Credit.com did get good service, and overall they were satisfied with the savings that their negotiators got for them.  If for some reason you didn’t feel that our #1 choice (Curadebt) was right for you, Credit.com is a viable alternative company for debt relief services.

Credit.com Services

One thing that Credit.com does have over the other sites we reviewed is the variety of services they can provide. Along with debt help, they provide credit cards, consolidation loans, credit report services, and more. As much as this helped the company in our ratings though, it also hurt them.

With the huge array of services they were not as focused on debt relief, and the service itself wasn’t as personalized as that of our #1 debt relief company. Having said that their negotiation services were good, and those who used Credit.com did experience a significant savings on their monthly payments.
